PayforArt.com is a new platform that allows art buyers to purchase art directly from artists on display at locations such as coffee shops, offices, and other public spaces. Using a mobile device (phone, laptop, tablet), buyers pay the artist directly and securely and can take the artwork with them immediately. We help artists sell more art and help venues sell art with less hassle.
It all started one day when we tried to buy a painting at a local coffee shop. To buy the art, we had to contact the artist, schedule a meeting, and pay for the art in-person with cash or check. We knew there had to be an easier way, so we created PayforArt.com.

- Art buyer selects the art on display they want to buy at any location where art is displayed.
- Art buyer enters the six-digit code shown with the artwork at payforart.com via their mobile phone, tablet, or laptop device.
- Art buyer confirms the price, then enters their credit card information.
- Artist receives immediate payment and confirmation.

It is easy to add your art to PayforArt.com
- Log in to the secure back-end with your email address and password on a desktop or mobile phone
- Add your art with a photo, title, price and description. The photo can be taken with a smart phone camera and only has to be high quality enough to identify the artwork.
- The system assigns a unique number and produces the information card to be printed.
- Simply, display the card with the art and buyers can purchase it.
It is easy to add to get paid for your art
- When art is sold, money is transferred directly from the seller’s credit card to the artist’s bank account via the Stripe payment network.
- PayforArt handles all the payment processing and charges 5% of the sale price. Stripe charges an additional 3% for a total of 8% of the total sale.
- Our system also handles paying venue’s their commissions as well, if the artist has agreed to the percentage of the venue.

Artists only want to show their art at locations where it sells. If the location accepts payments for art, the vendor must deal with processing the payment, paying the artist, and paying for the credit card fees on the sale. We knew there had to be an easier way, so we created PayforArt.com.
